Payday is not the pay-period ending date

Choose a confirmed deposit or payment date as the anchor. A period may finish several days before payroll is paid. The frequency and the anchor jointly determine a recurrence; neither one alone is enough for a reliable date list.

Use unadjusted dates carefully

The generated calendar is a planning baseline. Employers and banks may handle weekends and holidays differently. Compare the list with the official payroll calendar before scheduling payments from your account.

Frequently asked questions

Is biweekly pay the same as twice a month?

No. Biweekly means every 14 days. Semimonthly means two dates per month, giving 24 scheduled paydays in a full year. Biweekly usually gives 26, but some anchored years have 27.

Three-Paycheck Months in 2027: Find Yours from a Known Payday

Your three-paycheck months in 2027 depend on the biweekly cycle, not just the year. An unadjusted Friday cycle anchored on January 8 has three paydays in April and October. A cycle anchored on January 1 has three in January, July and December, with 27 dates in the year. Employer date adjustments can change the calendar.
